Checking the Serial Number of the Machine

You can check the serial number of the machine using the control panel or Web Image Monitor.

Checking the Serial Number of the Machine Using the Control Panel

  1. On the Home screen, press [Settings].

  2. Press [Inquiry].

  3. Check the serial number (an alphanumeric character string) next to Serial Number of Machine.

  4. Press [Close].

  5. Press [Home] (Operation panel screen illustration).

Checking the Serial Number of the Machine Using Web Image Monitor

  1. Launch the Web browser.

  2. Enter "http://(IP address of the machine or host name)/" on the address bar of the Web browser, and then press the Enter key.

  3. Click [Device Info] on the [Status/Information] menu.

  4. In the "System" category, check the serial number (an alphanumeric character string) next to "Machine ID".

  5. Click [Back].
