Sending Faxes via Another Machine (Non-fax Equipped Model)

On the Remote Fax screen, send a fax from the sub-machine.

1. Press [Fax] on the Home screen of the sub-machine.
   

2. Place an original on the scanner.

3. On the Remote Fax screen, press [Settings] and then specify the scan settings.

4. After configuring the send settings, specify the destination on the fax screen, and send the fax.
   When using the address book, you can select a destination from the address book of the sub-machine.
   Basic Procedure for Transmitting Faxes

On the Remote Fax screen, you can confirm and cancel transmission of a Transmission Standby File from the sub-machine.

1. Press [Fax] on the Home screen of the sub-machine.
   

2. Press [Job Status/Stop] on the Remote Fax screen.

3. Press [Check/Stop TX File] and select [File List] or [Files under Transmission].

4. Check the Transmission Standby Files.
   

   • All Transmission Standby Files stored on the main-machine are displayed.

   • is displayed in front of the destination for a Transmission Standby File sent from the sub-machine.

   • For a document specified with more than one destination, the destination specified first is displayed. Also, only the number of destinations of the unsent faxes is displayed in Dest..

5. Select the document to cancel transmission and press [Cancel Sending].
