Switch Title

Specify a title to classify the destinations in the address book so that you can find a destination more easily.

• Default: [Title 1]

Search Destination

Select the address book to search from the address book of the machine and the address book on the LDAP server.

• Default: [Address Book]

Destination List Display Priority 1

(This setting item is valid only when [Scanner (Classic)] is used.)

Specify the type of destination list to display on the Scanner screen.

• Default: [Email/Folder]

Destination List Display Priority 2

Select whether to display an e-mail destination or folder destination when displaying the Scanner screen. However, if [Destination List Display Priority 1] is set to other than [Email/Folder], e-mail destinations are displayed regardless of the [Destination List Display Priority 2] setting.

• Default: [Email Address]

Login User Address Priority

Select whether to automatically specify the e-mail address of the logged-in user as the destination when user authentication is activated on the machine.

• Default: [Off]

Program Setting for Destinations

Select whether to include the destination information in the address book when programing an entry.

• Default: [Exclude Destinations]

External Authentication: Folder Path Overwrite Setting

Specify whether to overwrite the address book registered on the machine with the folder information of the logged in user registered on the LDAP server.

• Default: [Do not Overwrite]

Print & Delete Scanner Records

Specify how to perform printing when the number of entries in the transmission history reaches the maximum number of 250.

• Print and Delete All
  Print all entries and erase the transmission history. The entries may not be printed depending on the security settings.

• Do not Print: Delete Oldest
  The oldest entry is deleted when a new entry is added in the history.

• Do not Print: Disable Send
  Transmission becomes impossible after the number of entries reaches the maximum number. Transmission becomes possible after printing the history using [Print Scanner Records] or erasing it using [Delete Scanner Records].

• Default: [Print and Delete All]

(This setting item is valid only when [Scanner (Classic)] is used.)

Select this to erase all transmission history.

Scanner Records with no Privileges

(This setting item is invalid when [Scanner (Classic)] is used.)

Specify whether to display scanner jobs from users other than the logged in user with asterisks on Scanner Records.

• Replace with Asterisks
  Scanner jobs from the users other than the logged in user are displayed, but are masked with asterisks on scanner records.

• Do not Show
  Only the scanner jobs from the logged in user are displayed on scanner records.

• Default: [Replace with Asterisks]

Use WSD or DSM

(This setting item is valid only when [Scanner (Classic)] is used.)

Select whether to use the WSD or DSM function.

• Default: [Do not Use]

Use a Destination List that is not DSM

(This setting item is valid only when [Scanner (Classic)] is used.)

Select whether to use a destination list other than that of DSM when using the DSM function.

• Default: [Available]

Display WSD Destination List

(This setting item is valid only when [Scanner (Classic)] is used.)

Select whether to display the WSD destination list on the Scanner screen.

• Default: [Do not Display]

Prohibit WSD Scan Command

Select whether to prohibit using the WSD scanner from the computer.

• Default: [Prohibit]
