To use the Fax function, connect the machine to a telephone line with a modular cable. You can use the machine as a telephone when an external telephone is connected.
LINE1: G3 interface unit connector
Connect the line for fax use.
TEL: External telephone connector
Connect an external telephone set. Remove the cap before use.
LINE2, LINE3: G3 interface unit connector
Connect the line for fax use.
When connecting a modular cable to "LINE 1, 2 and 3", make a loop as shown in the illustration at a point 3 cm (
) from the end of the modular cable on the connection side of the machine, and attach the included ferrite core to the loop.

Select the line type to which the machine is connected. There are two types: tone and pulse dial.
Select the line type using Administrator Tools.
