Deleting the Printer Driver (macOS)

  1. Click [System Preferences] on the Apple menu.

  2. Click [Printers & Scanners].

  3. Select the machine you want to delete, and then click "minus".

  4. Click [Delete Printer].

  5. Close the system preferences.

  6. Start the Finder.

  7. On the menu bar, click [Go] [Go to Folder].

  8. Enter the location where the PPD file is installed, and then press Enter.

    • Enter "/Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources/".

  9. Delete the PPD file of the machine (XXX.gz).
    "XXX" is the model name of the machine.

  10. Close all of the screens, and then restart the computer.
    The printer driver will be deleted.
