Description

Auto Color Calibration

When printed colors appear tinted or different from the colors in the original, restore the previous color calibration setting or execute Auto Color Calibration.

Color Registration

When a deviation in color registration appears, executing Color Registration may help.

When a Deviation in Color Registration Appears

Adjust Image Density

When the printed text on documents is light or dark, adjust the image density.

  • Default: (the level in the center among five levels)

Adjust Print Position

When the printed text on documents is out of place, adjust the print position for each paper tray. You can also adjust the print position for 2-sided printing.

When the Printed Image Is Shifted

Fuser Unit Cleaning

When black spots appear on the printed documents, cleaning the fuser unit may help. Set A4Portrait (81/2 x 11Portrait) plain paper in the bypass tray, and then press [Start].

Fusing Improvement Mode

Activate this function to raise the paper feed temperature to improve fusing quality and minimize smudges on the printed paper.

  • Default: [Inactive]

When the Printed Image Does Not Appear as Desired

Curl Prevention

Activate this function to decrease the print speed to minimize curling of the printed paper.

  • Default: [Inactive]

When the Printed Paper Curls

Adjust Paper Transfer Voltage Offset

When the printed images appear faded, adjust the paper transfer voltage. You can adjust the voltage for each paper type in 11 levels.

When Color Loss or Blurring Occurs

Adjust Image Transfer Voltage Offset

When ghost images of printed texts or images appear on the printed documents, adjust the image transfer voltage. You can adjust the voltage individually for black-and-white printing and color printing in 11 levels.

Adjust Auto Density

When the machine is left unused for an extended period of time or the usage environment of the machine is drastically changed, image density may change. In such cases, execute Adjust Auto Density.
