Copying onto Various Types of Paper
You can copy onto various types of paper, such as envelopes, transparencies, thin paper and thick paper.
Select a paper type according to the weight or type of the paper you are using. When selecting [Coated: Glossy] or [Coated: Matte], you can adjust the gloss. For details, see the following section:

You need to specify the type of paper you are using in [Tray Paper Settings] to make copies using paper from the paper trays, LCT, or the wide LCT. For details, see the following section:
