Specifying a Printer Language
In order to print RTIFF and RP-GL/2 files properly, the appropriate Printer Language for each file type must be selected.

Depending on the settings configured on the machine, printing may not be performed as intended. For details, see Notes on Printer Languages.
Press [Settings].
Press [Printer Settings].
Press [System].
Press [Emulation].
Press [Printer Language].
Press [RTIFF] or [RP-GL/2] to specify the Printer Language to be used.
Press [Home] (
) at the bottom of the screen in the center.
Notes on Printer Languages
If the Printer Language is switched while printing a file:
If "Auto" is selected for "Printer Language", and "I/O Timeout" is set to a small value, the machine may switch the Printer Language to a different one even while a file is being processed.
If this occurs, change the setting:
Specify a larger value for "I/O Timeout".
Specify a setting other than "Auto" in "Printer Language".
