Registering/Changing/Deleting Groups in the Address Book

1. Press [Address Book] on the Home screen.
   

2. Press [Create Group] on the Address Book screen.
   

3. Enter the information of the group on the [Name] tab, and then select a title to classify it.
   

4. Press [Group Members] tab [Add Member].
   

5. Select the members to register in a group, and then press [OK].

6. Press the [Other] tab as necessary, and specify the settings.
   

   • Add to Group: Press to register this group to another group.

   • Display Priority: When the destinations are sorted in the order of priority, a destination with higher priority is displayed prior to the one with lower priority. The destinations with the same priority are displayed in the order of registration.

   • Destination Protection: Select this check box to require entering of the protection code to select the group. If a group includes a member to whom the folder destination is specified, the protection can be set on the group.

   • Access Privileges for Destination: Press to set permission for users or groups to access this group destination.

7. Press [OK].

8. After completing the procedure, press [Home] ().

9. When a message prompting you to back up the address book appears on the screen, press [Go to Backup] to back up the address book.
   

   • If a message prompting you to contact the administrator to back up the address book appears on the screen, ask the administrator to back up the address book.

   • If you select [Close], you can close the address book without backing up and go back to the Home screen.

   Making a Backup or Restoring the Address Book

You can register another group to the group in addition to destinations. For example, you can register a company as a primary group, and multiple sections as the secondary group.

1. Press [Address Book] on the Home screen.
   

2. Select a group to register (secondary group) on the Address Book screen, and then press [Edit].
   

3. Press the [Other] tab [Add to Group].

4. Press [Select Group].
   

5. Select a group (primary group), and then press [OK].

6. Press [OK] [OK].

7. After completing the registration, press [Home] ().

8. When a message prompting you to back up the address book appears on the screen, press [Go to Backup] to back up the address book.

   • If you select [Close], you can close the address book without backing up and go back to the Home screen.

   Making a Backup or Restoring the Address Book

1. Press [Address Book] on the Home screen.
   

2. Select the group whose registered users you want to confirm, and then press [Edit].
   

3. Press the [Group Members] tab.
   The registered members are displayed.

4. When confirming is complete, press [Cancel] [Home] ().
