Program/Change Permissions for User/Group Files
Printer: Print Jobs > Print Job List > File Properties > Program/Change Permissions for User/Group Files

This page displays privileges to access the stored print file stored in the device. If necessary, use this page to change the access privileges. This page appears when you click [Change] for [File Access Privilege] on the [File Properties] page.

Note

User ID

Displays the identifier of the user who sent the job.

File Name

Displays the job's document name.

You can give a file access privilege to a specific user or group.

Display Class

Select from the following items you want to display in the list:

Note

All

Displays all users and groups registered to the Address Book, regardless of whether a user or group has an access privilege.

With Access Priv.

Displays users and groups who have any access privilege for the files.

Read-only

Displays users and groups who have the Read-only privilege.

Edit

Displays users and groups who have the Edit privilege.

Edit/Delete

Displays users and groups who have the Edit/Delete privilege.

Full Control

Displays users and groups who have the Full Control privilege.

Switch Displayed Title

Sorts by title and displays users/groups belonging to the selected title tab.
When you select [Title 1], [Title 2], or [Title 3], [Current Title] appears. To display users/groups belonging to a tab, click the button corresponding to that tab.

Current Title

When you select the tab (button) corresponding to the title selected for [Switch Displayed Title], the users/groups belonging to that tab are displayed.
Both users and groups are displayed if [All] is selected for [View]. Either the users or groups are displayed if [User] or [Group] is selected.

View

Select from the following items you want to display in the list:

  • All
  • User
  • Group

Search for

Select a search item in the [Search for] list, enter a search string in the box to the right, and then click [Search] to start searching for users and groups that match the search criteria.
Enter a search string, using up to 128 characters.

Page control buttons

Click the buttons above the list to change the display page.
The total number of pages and current page number are displayed between and .

Displays the first page.

Displays the previous page.

Displays the next page.

Displays the last page.

[Page] box and [Go] button

Displays the specified page. Enter the number of the page in the [Page] box, and then click [Go] to display it.

Display Items

Select the number of display items per page.

Total No. of Programmed Items

Displays the number of users/groups displayed in the list.
The number of displayed items depends on the selections in [Display Class], [Switch Displayed Title], [View], and [Search for]. If the list extends on more than one page, the total number of users/groups on these pages is shown.

No. of Permissions

Displays the number of Read-Only, Edit, Edit/Delete, or Full Control access privileges assigned.

List of display items

To set an access privilege, select the check box appearing to the right of the user or group.
The items displayed are as follows:

Registration No.

Displays a user- or group-specific number assigned when the user or group is registered to the Address Book. The icon to the left of the registration No. indicates a user. The icon indicates a group.

Name

Displays the name of the user or group.

Read-only

Select whether to give the Read-only privilege.

Edit

Select whether to give the Edit privilege.

Edit/Delete

Select whether to give the Edit/Delete privilege.

Full Control

Select whether to give the Full Control privilege.
