How to Start Scanning
Use one of the following two methods to start scanning:
Place the originals
Press [Start]
The default settings allow you to start scanning and storing files by simply placing originals (without pressing [Start]). When you place the originals, you cannot press [Start]. However, you must press [Start] in the following case:
Right after making additional scanning settings you had missed (for example, if you forgot to specify a destination)
You can change the settings for starting scanning by pressing [Start].
