Programming the Performance Details Information of an Internet Fax Destination
When the destination device registered in the address book supports the T.37 Full Mode for Internet fax communication, you can register the performance details (supported compression method, paper size, and resolution) of the destination from Web Image Monitor manually. Register the performance details of the destination device to send a fax at the optimal size and resolution to the destination.
Ask a person at the destination for the performance details of their device in advance.
When sending a fax with [Reception Notice] specified, the machine updates the information of the destination registered in the memory automatically upon receiving the reception notification returned from the destination using the information included in the e-mail.
Confirming the Reception of an Internet Fax at the Destination
Log in to Web Image Monitor as the administrator.
Click [Address Book] from the [Device Management] menu.
Click [Detail Input]
[Add User].
Enter the registration number, name, and e-mail address of the Internet Fax destination to register.
Click [Full Mode] under "Internet Fax Data Format", and specify the performance details of the destination device.
Click [OK], and then close the Web browser.
To edit the performance details information, select the registration number in Step 4, and click [Change].
