When Printed Colors Appear Differently
If certain printed colors appear too bright or are different from the colors in the original, perform [Color Calibration] in [Settings]
[Printer Settings]
[Data Management/Maintenance]
[Image Adjustment] to adjust the color balance.

If you have not used the machine for a long time, the printed colors may have changed.
If you feel the calibrated color is not appropriate, repeat the calibration several times as needed.
Color Calibration settings apply to all user jobs.
Use the same type of paper to print color calibration test sheet 1 and color calibration test sheet 2. If you use different types of paper, color calibration cannot be performed correctly.
This feature requires the color calibration sample sheet provided with the machine.
Perform Color Calibration in the following procedure.
Perform Adjust Auto Density.
Print color calibration test sheet 1.
How to Use Color Calibration Sample Sheet and Color Calibration Test SheetAdjust the highlights.
Set the calibration values.
Print the color calibration test sheet, and then check the result of the calibration.
Print color calibration test sheet 2.
How to Use Color Calibration Sample Sheet and Color Calibration Test SheetAdjust the mid tones.
Set the calibration values.
Print the color calibration test sheet, and then check the result of the calibration.
Save the calibration values.
The color calibration sample sheet contains two color samples: Sample 1 for adjusting highlights and sample 2 for adjusting mid tones.
There are two types of the color calibration test sheets: Color calibration test sheet 1 for adjusting highlights and color calibration test sheet 2 for adjusting mid tones. the color calibration test sheet 1 is used for calibration 1, and the color calibration test sheet 2 is used for calibration 2.
How to use color samples on the color calibration sample sheet and calibration numbers of the color calibration test sheet
For C/Y, (Cyan) and (Yellow), the calibration number is determined with the two colors combined, but it is set one color at a time.
Compare the calibration numbers (0 to 6) for "K" on the color calibration test sheet and the color calibration sample 1 on the color calibration sample sheet, and then, on the control panel, enter the number of the closest color.

How to use color calibration test sheet
Compare the color calibration test sheet and the color calibration sample sheet to confirm the calibration numbers for each color, and then specify the calibration numbers on the control panel.

K (black) calibration numbers
Used to adjust the color printed when only black toner is used. The currently set calibration number is printed in red.M (magenta) calibration numbers
Used to adjust the color printed when only magenta toner is used. The currently set calibration number is printed in red.C (cyan)/Y (yellow) calibration numbers
Used to adjust the colors printed when only cyan and yellow toner are used. The cyan and yellow samples are printed on the sheet as the mixed color of cyan and yellow, but the settings are specified for each color.Setting value
Displays the current calibration numbers for each color. The numbers are the same as the numbers set on the control panel.
It corrects printed gradations in two ranges, the bright areas (highlights) and the middle areas (midtones).
