Back Up/Restore Address Book
Note
- You cannot back up or restore the Address Book if Managed Client is specified on the Central Management page.
Encryption Key
Enter the key to access encrypted Address Book data.
Backup
Download machine Address Book data as a backup file.
Note
- After clicking the Backup button, operations differ depending on the Web browser you are using.
- The default name of the backup file is "<devicename>_addr.udf".
- During backup operation, do not modify the Address Book on the machine's control panel.
- Backup files can be used to restore the Address Books. Depending on the model, you might not be able to restore the Address Book.

Restore
Restores machine Address Book data using backup files.
If you click this button, the Restore page appears.

Import/Export
Note
- You cannot import or export the Address Book if Managed Client is specified on the Central Management page
CSV Data
You can import and export the address book data in CSV format.
Export
Click this button to start downloading machine Address Book data as a CSV file.
Note
- After clicking the Export button, operations differ depending on the Web browser you are using.
- The default name of the backup file is "<devicename>_addr.csv".
- During exporting operation, do not modify the Address Book on the machine's control panel.
- You can edit the exported file.
- Password information cannot be exported. Specify password information again after completing the export.
Import
You can import the exported file to the machine's Address Book. If you click this button, the Import page appears.

Auto Delete User in Address Book
Note
- This setting does not appear if Managed Client is specified on the Central Management page.
Auto Delete
Specify whether or not to enable the auto delete user function in the Address Book.
If you register a new user when the maximum number of users/groups is already registered, the oldest user will be deleted automatically.
Note
- This function is available only when the following settings are configured:
- User Authentication Management is set to Windows Authentication, or LDAP Authentication.
- Printer: PC Control is selected for User Code Authentication Settings on the Configuration: Device Settings: User Authentication Management: User Authentication Management (User Code) page.
Items Displayed in Address List
Specify items you want to display in the Address List page and their display order.
You can move items from one list to the other and also change their display order by dragging and dropping them or using Display and Hide buttons.
Items with an asterisk are always displayed.
Additional Items
Displays items you can add to the list.
Display
Add the item selected in Additional Items to Display Order of Items.
Hide
Delete the item selected in Display Order of Items.
Display Order of Items
Displays a list of items to be displayed in the Address List page.
Up
Move the selected item up one position.
Down
Move the selected item down one position.
Button
Refresh
Click to update the currently displayed information.
Note
- Before making the settings, click Refresh to obtain the machine's current status.
OK
Click to apply the changes.
Cancel
Click to cancel the changes.
