Use this page to specify the settings for Central Address Book Management.
Using this function allows you to synchronize and copy the Address Book of a specific machine to other machines, so that the Address Book can be used on them.
Note
- Settings for this page can be configured by the following administrators:
- Machine Administrator
- User Administrator
- When you are logged in as Machine Administrator, click Central Address Book Management on the Device Management menu to open this page.
- When you are logged in as User Administrator, click Central Address Book Management on the Address List page to open this page.
- For details about the Central Address Book Management function, see the operating instructions provided with the machine.
Device Setting
Specify whether or not to use the Central Address Book Management function, and if yes, specify whether to set your machine as a server or client.
Do not Manage Centrally
Does not perform Central Address Book Management.
Manages the Address Book in stand-alone mode.
Managed Client
It allows you to copy and use the Address Book of the management server.
Management Server
Centrally manages the Address Book as a management server.
It allows you to synchronize and copy the Address Book stored on this machine to the clients' Address Books as a master Address Book.
