Firmware Update Errors

If an error occurs during firmware update, troubleshoot as follows:

Error Codes 01 to 50

Turn the printer off and on.
Perform the update again using the correct firmware file.

Error Code 51

Firmware update fails because the device is in use.
Perform the update again when the device is not in use.

Error Code 52

The firmware file is not appropriate.
Perform the update again using the correct firmware file.

Error Code 53

The update is aborted during downloading of the firmware file onto the device.
Perform the update again by using the firmware file you used for the previous update.
If you are using a DNS server, the machine's IP address might have changed. Check the IP address, and then perform the update again.
