Auto E-mail Notification
Use this page to make settings for e-mail notification of the machine status and error.
Note
- These settings can be made only when you are logged on as Administrator.
Notification Message
Enter a comment commonly used for each group where the error notification is sent.
Up to 256 alphanumeric characters can be entered.
You can set this according to your needs, for example, the machine's location, service representative contact information.
Note
- The contents specified in the [Notification Message] box will be shown as a part of e-mail notification.
Groups to Notify
Group 1 to Group 4
E-mail notification addresses can be grouped as required.
For example, you can organize groups so error notifications are sent to a group where administrators are registered, or low-toner/low-paper messages are sent to a group where general affairs clerks are registered. Up to 3 addresses can be registered in a group.
Click [Edit] next to the group you want to make changes.
When the [Group X] page appears, make the necessary settings.
Note
- When you make changes to an existing group, you can also click the group name to display the [Group X] page.
Select Groups/Items to Notify
Select groups for each notification type, such as machine status and error.
To send an e-mail, select the [Notify] check box.
To make detailed notification settings, click [Edit].
When the [Detailed Settings of Each Item] page appears, make the necessary settings.

- You can also click the item name to display the [Detailed Settings of Each Item] page.
Buttons
[Refresh]
Click to update the currently displayed information.
Note
- Before making the settings, click [Refresh] to obtain the machine's current status.
[OK]
Click to apply the settings.
[Cancel]
Click to cancel the settings.
