Chapter

When printing files from the Document Server, a designated section and chapter can be set.

Click here if the [Display Range] menu appears in the upper left of the page

Current Settings

Designation Sheet Tray

If an input tray is set as the designation sheet tray, the name and status of the tray, as well as the size and orientation of loaded paper are displayed.
If no input tray is set as the designation sheet tray, "Off" is displayed.

Detailed Settings

Pages:

Enter the pages to be used as the designated section or chapter. A number between 1 and 1000 can be specified.

Type:

Select a designate/chapter type from the list:

Designate (Print)

Print the specified page on the designation sheet.

Designate (Blank)

Insert a designation sheet before the specified page.

Chapter

Print the specified page on the same face as that of the first page.

Note

Up to 20 Designate/Chapter locations can be specified.
If the same page is specified for both Designate and Chapter, the Designate settings have priority.

Buttons

[OK]

Click to save the settings and return to the [Cover Sheet/Slip Sheet] page.
Current settings are displayed in the [Designate] area on the [Cover Sheet/Slip Sheet] page.

[Cancel]

Click to cancel the settings and return to the [Cover Sheet/Slip Sheet] page.
