Timer
Configure settings to control the functions supported by the machine.
Note
- Settings on this page can be changed by the following administrators and users:
- Machine Administrator
- Users logged on (all items), provided that:
User authentication is enabled on the device and users are permitted to make changes to administrator's setting items.
- Some items may not appear depending on machine type or configuration.
Sleep Mode Timer
The sleep mode timer automatically turns off the device when it is left idle for a specified period.
Enter the time period that the device must be idle before switching to sleep mode.
Enter a value between 1 and 60 (minutes). Note that on some machine models, the time period you can specify may be between 1 and 240 (minutes).
Turn Off by Brightness
This function automatically puts the device into auto off mode if a low ambient brightness is detected.
Turn Off by Brightness
Specify whether the Turn Off by Brightness function is enabled or disabled.
Timer to Turn Off
Specify the time period that the device waits before it goes into auto off mode after detecting a low ambient brightness.
Note
- The auto off timer will reset if any of the following occurs:
- If the sensor detects an increase in ambient brightness before the specified duration elapses.
- If a key is pressed, or a print is made.
Brightness Sensor Level
Specify a sensitivity level for detecting the ambient brightness.
Auto Reset Timer
Select whether to reset the device's printer settings to their initial status (as when first turned on), when the printer function is idle for a specified period.
If you select On, you must then enter the time before reset to initial status.
Enter a value between 10 and 999 (seconds).
If you select Off, device settings remain until turned off.
Auto Logout Timer
Select to automatically log out the user logged in from the control panel if he/she does not use the machine for a specified period.
If you select On, you must then enter the time period which must elapse before the user is automatically logged out.
Enter seconds between 60 and 999 (seconds).
If you select Off, the user remains logged in until he/she manually logs out.
Weekly Timer Code
When On is selected for Weekly Timer to enable Auto Power On/Off, also select whether to request an authentication code for manual power on.
When On is selected, enter the authentication code.
Enter a value between 0 and 99999999.
Weekly Timer:
Monday - Sunday
Select whether to automatically power on/off the machine at a specified time each day of the week.
Power On Time
Select whether to power on the machine automatically.
If Active is selected, specify the time when the machine is powered on.
Enter hours between 0 and 23, and minutes between 00 and 59.
Power Off Time
Select whether to power off the machine automatically.
If Active is selected, specify the time when the machine is powered off.
Enter hours between 0 and 23, and minutes between 00 and 59.
Buttons
Refresh
Click to update the currently displayed information.
Note
- Before making the settings, click Refresh to obtain the machine's current status.
OK
Click to apply the settings.
Cancel
Click to cancel the settings.
