Administrator Authentication Management
Device Management > Configuration > Device Settings > Administrator Authentication Management

You can specify whether administrator authentication is performed on the device control panel.

Note

User Administrator Authentication

Specify whether User Administrator is authenticated when making User settings (e.g. editing the Address Book) on the control panel.

Note

Available Settings for User Administrator

Specify the administration level ("High" or "Low") for items managed by User Administrator.
Select the check box to set the administration level to "High", or clear the check box to set it to "Low".

Machine Administrator Authentication

Specify whether Machine Administrator is authenticated for making device settings (e.g. system defaults) on the control panel.

Available Settings for Machine Administrator

Specify the administration level ("High" or "Low") for items managed by Machine Administrator.
Select the check box to set the administration level to "High", or clear the check box to set it to "Low".

Network Administrator Authentication

Specify whether Network Administrator is authenticated when making network configuration settings on the control panel.

Available Settings for Network Administrator

Specify the administration level ("High" or "Low") for items managed by Network Administrator.
Select the check box to set the administration level to "High", or clear the check box to set it to "Low".

File Administrator Authentication

Specify whether File Administrator is authenticated when managing files stored on the machine on the control panel.

Available Settings for File Administrator

Specify the administration level ("High" or "Low") for items managed by File Administrator.
Select the check box to set the administration level to "High", or clear the check box to set it to "Low".
