Add Group
Use this page to register new groups.
Note
- Settings for the Address Book can be made by the following Administrators and Users:
- User Administrator
- Logged-in Users
When user authentication is enabled, a logged-in User can change his/her user information.
- Access privileges can be given to individual users/groups registered to the Address Book. Depending on given privileges, a User may edit or delete stored documents/jobs/information about the Address Book, even if he/she is neither User Administrator nor owner of them.
Registration No.
Enter the registration number for the group. You can enter a value between 1 and 999.
Name
Enter the group name using up to 20 characters.
Index
Enter the reading for the name above. You can enter up to 8 characters.
Protection
Note
- This option appears only when user authentication is enabled.
Protect Destination
You can limit availability of this group through restricted access privileges.
Access Privilege
To set access privileges for group information registered to the Address Book, click [Change]. When the [Protect Destination: Permissions for Users/Groups] page appears, set the access privilege.

Details of Group
A group can contain not only user(s) but also other group(s). To set this group to belong to another group, click [Change]. When the [Add to Group] page appears, specify the group to which this group belongs.

Click to apply the changes and display the [Address List] page.
[Save and Add Another]
Click to apply the changes and reset all values set on this page to default.
[Cancel]
Click to cancel the changes.
