Timer

Make settings to control the functions supported by the machine.

Note

• Settings on this page can be changed by the following Administrator:
  • Machine Administrator

Energy Saver Mode 1

Select this to force the machine to automatically switch to Energy Saver Mode 1 if it remains inactive for a specified wait period.

Energy Saver Mode 2

Select this to force the machine to automatically switch to Energy Saver Mode 2 if it remains inactive for a specified wait period.
If you select [On], you must then specify a wait period in the [Energy Saver Mode 2 Timer] box.

Energy Saver Mode 2 Timer

Select the number of minutes the printer waits before it switches to Energy Saver Mode 2. This setting is available only if you selected [On] in the [Energy Saver Mode 2] box.

Auto Reset Timer

Select whether to reset the device's printer settings to their initial status (as when first turned on), when the printer function is idle for a specified period.
When [On] is selected, enter the time before reset to initial status. Enter a value between 10 and 999 (seconds).
When [Off] is selected, device settings remain until turned off.

Auto Logout Timer

Select to automatically log out the user logged in from the control panel if he/she does not use the machine for a specified period.
If you select [On], enter the time period which must elapse before the user is automatically logged off. Enter seconds between 10 and 999.
If you select [Off], the user remains logged in until he/she manually logs out.

Buttons

[Refresh]

Click to update the currently displayed information.

• Before making the settings, click [Refresh] to obtain the machine's current status.

[OK]

Click to apply the settings.

[Cancel]

Click to cancel the settings.

[Back]

Click to return to the [Configuration] page.

• The [Back] button appears only if the user has the R (read-only) privilege.
