Use this page to enter administrative information related to the machine's interfaces.
Some items are for reference only and cannot be changed.
To make settings for the wireless LAN board, use the [Wireless LAN Settings] page.
Note
Switch the interface between Ethernet and wireless LAN. This is available only if the device supports both interfaces.
Note
Displays network interface board information. This information appears when a network interface board is installed.
Displays Ethernet operation status.
Displays the MAC address (Media Access Control Address) of the network interface board.
Select whether or not to use IEEE 802.1X as an authentication method to protect data communication.
To make detailed settings, use the [IEEE 802.1X (WPA/WPA2)] page.
Configure settings related to the Bluetooth board. This information appears when a Bluetooth board is installed.
Select whether communication using Bluetooth is active or inactive.
Select the Bluetooth operation mode.
You can establish the connection by searching for a Bluetooth adaptor or Bluetooth-equipped computer.
You can establish the connection when registering the machine with utility. A Bluetooth adaptor or Bluetooth-equipped computer that has not registered the machine cannot be searched for.
Configure USB settings.
Select whether data transfer via USB is active or inactive.
This appears when data transfer via USB is active and the device supports USB Host.
Select whether USB Host function is active or inactive.
Configure PictBridge settings.
PictBridge is the standard that enables images to be printed by connecting a device directly to a digital camera via USB cable.
The following item appears when the device supports PictBridge:
Select to enable or disable communication using PictBridge.
Configure settings related to the parallel interface board. This information appears when a parallel interface board is installed.
- Parallel Interface Select whether to enable or disable printing using the parallel interface.
Select the parallel interface timing.
Select the parallel interface communication speed.
Select the selection signal level for the parallel interface.
Select whether to enable or disable the input prime signal when the signal is received.
Select whether to enable or disable bidirectional communication on the device.
Click to update the currently displayed information.
