This section describes the settings in [PCL Menu] under [Printer Settings].
How to Use the Settings Screen
Setting Items | Description |

Orientation | You can specify the orientation of the paper.

Form Lines | You can specify the number of lines per page from 5 to 128. (mainly Europe)

Font Number | You can specify the font number of the font to use from 0 to 103.
|
Point Size | You can specify the point size of the font to use. The point sizes can be specified from 4.00 to 999.75 in increments of 0.25. This setting is effective only for proportional fonts.

Font Pitch | You can specify the pitch (character width) for the font to use. The font pitch can be specified from 0.44 to 99.99 in increments of 0.01. This setting is effective only for monospaced fonts.

Symbol Set | You can specify the character set of the selected font.
|
Nimbus Mono Font | You can specify the type of the Nimbus Mono font.

Extend A4 Width | When you print on the A4 paper, you can specify whether to print from edge to edge of the printable paper size.

Append CR to LF | You can specify the operation of the machine when the CR, LF, or FF code is received. When you specify [LF=CR+LF], the machine operates as CR=CR, LF=CR+LF, or FF=CR+FF. When you specify [LF=LF], the machine operates as CR=CR, LF=LF, or FF=FF.

Resolution | You can specify the print resolution in dots per inch. When this setting item is specified as [300 dpi], data is printed in monochrome even if you specify color print in the printer driver. .

Toner Saving | You can specify whether to reduce toner consumption when printing.
|
Tray Parameters (PCL) | You can configure the settings to change the paper tray parameters used for PCL printing. You can specify this function if the machine is replaced with another manufacturer's machine for output without a printer driver in the basic system. The tray parameter for different paper trays depends on the manufacturer. For example, if the Tray 1 parameter for the used machine is "4", specify "4" for Tray 1. |
