Changing the Volume and Type of Sound for Fax Transmission/Reception Notifications

Mute or adjust the volume of the sound to notify when sending a fax or printing a received fax is completed. You can also change the type of sound.

Press [Settings] on the Home screen.

Press [System Settings] on the Settings screen.

Press [Sound].

To adjust the volume of all operation sounds, press [Volume] and then move the slider. Move the slider to the right to increase the volume.
To adjust the volume of the sound assigned to these operations (On Hook Mode, At Transmission, At Reception, At Dialing), press [Adjust Sound Volume (Fax)] and then move the slider. You can check the volume by selecting the [Check Sound Volume] check box.
To mute sounds or change the type of sounds individually, press an operation (Fax Printing Ended Sound, Fax Transmission Ended Sound, Fax Reception Ended Sound) to specify it.

Press [OK].

Press [Home] () after specifying the settings.
