Send Settings (Fax Settings)
This section describes the settings in [Send Settings] under [Fax Settings].
Setting Items | Description |

Maximum Email Size | Specify whether to set a limit to the size of a file that can be sent by an e-mail. When selecting [On], specify the maximum file size in [Size Limit] between 128-102,400 KB (100 MB). If sending the e-mail is canceled for the file size exceeding the upper limit, an Error Report is output and the e-mail is deleted.

Register/Change/Delete Standard Message | You can register up to three fixed phrases to print on the first page of the page received at the destination. The following phrases that are registered by default cannot be changed: "Confidential", "Urgent", "Please phone", and "Copy to corres. Section". |
Memory File Transfer (If Unable to Print) | Specify this setting to forward all documents in the memory and the received documents stored on the hard disk drive on another fax when the machine is unable to perform printing due the toner or paper running out. The document is not deleted from the memory or hard disk drive after forwarding it. |
Backup File Transmission Setting | Specify whether to send a backup of the sent document to the specified folder.

Number of Resends Settings | Specify whether to perform redialing automatically when a transmission error occurs while sending a fax by Memory Transmission, Backup File Transmission, or Folder Transfer. When specifying [On] in [Resend], specify the number of times to perform redialing in [Number of Resends].

Prevent Incorrect Transmissions | Configure the machine to prevent selecting a wrong fax destination.

Stored Fax File Auto Delete (This setting item is valid only when [Fax (Classic)] is used.) | Specify whether to delete stored sent documents in the Document Server automatically.

Email address/Folder Path on Communication Log | Specify whether to display the e-mail address or folder path instead of the destination's name in the destination field of the transmission history when sending or forwarding a document to a destination registered in the address book.
