Changing the Parameter Settings
"Parameters" refer to the switches that configures various features in the Fax function. You can specify the detailed settings regarding the behavior of the machine when printing a received fax or when sending or receiving a fax.
How to operate on the Parameter Setting screen
Each switch of a parameter 8 "bits" of [0] to [7], and a function is assigned to each bit number. To switch the setting, press each bit number and change the current value to "0" or "1".

Attach the option to configure or enable/disable the function before changing each switch of a parameter.
Log in to the machine as the machine administrator on the control panel.
On the Home screen, press [Settings].
Press [Machine Features Settings].
Press [Fax Settings][Initial Settings] tab [Parameter Setting] to display the switch operation screen.
Press the switch number to change.
Press the bit number to change and specify the current value.
The value changes to "1" or "0" every time you press the number.
Press [OK].
Press [Home] () after specifying the settings.
To print the current values of the parameters whose setting is referred frequently, press [Fax Settings][Initial Settings] tab [Parameter Setting: Print List]. For the value that has been changed from the default value, "*" is printed.
