On-demand E-mail Notification
You can configure on-demand e-mail notification using a web browser from networked computers. (We use Web Imager Monitor installed on this machine.)
Start a web browser from a networked computer, and then log in to Web Image Monitor in administrator mode.
For details on how to access in the administrator mode, see Displaying Top Page and Access in the Administrator Mode.
Click [Configuration] on the [Device Management] menu.
Click [On-demand Email Notification] under "Device Settings".
The dialog box for making notification settings appears.
Make the following settings:
Notification Subject: Enter a text string to be added to the subject line of return e-mails.
Notification Message: You can set this according to your needs, for example, the machine's location, service representative contact information.
Restriction to Device Status Info.: Specify whether or not to allow accesses to the information such as the machine settings and status.
Items in the Receivable Email Address/Domain Name Settings column: Enter an e-mail address or domain name to use for requesting information by e-mail and to receive its return e-mail.
Click [OK].
Click [Logout].
Quit the web browser.
