Viewing Fax Information Using a Web Browser

This section explains how to use a web browser on a networked computer to manage the address book and documents that are received and stored on the machine. (This explanation uses Web Image Monitor, which is installed on the machine.)

To manage documents received and stored, you need to set [Store] to [On] in the Fax Features menu. For details about Store, see Reception File Settings.

To access the machine using a web browser on a networked computer, you must be on the same network as the machine. Otherwise, the web browser may not open and an error may occur.

To start Web Image Monitor, enter the machine's IP address or host name in the address bar in your web browser. When entering an IPv4 address, do not begin segments with zero. For example: If the address is "192.168.001.010", you must enter it as "192.168.1.10" to connect to the machine.
