Machine Set Up Procedure

Use the following procedure to set up the machine:

1. Confirm the environmental conditions of the location to install the machine.
   For details, see Setup Guide.

2. Install options.
   For details, see Installing Options or the instructions supplied with the option.

3. Load paper in the paper feed tray.
   For details, see Loading Paper.

4. Connect the interface cable to the machine.
   For details, see Connecting the Cables.

5. Plug in the power cord, and then turn on the machine.
   For details, see Setup Guide.

6. Select the language used on the display.

7. Configure the machine’s network settings.
   For details, see Network Settings.

8. Install the printer driver.
   For details, see Installing the Printer Driver.

9. Print a test page.
