Configure settings for Fax reception.
Note
- Settings on this page can be changed by the following administrators and users:
- Machine Administrator (Reception Settings)
- Users logged in to a device that is set to perform user authentication
Users must have normal fax operation rights and permission to change settings that usually only administrators can change.
- Some items may not appear depending on machine type or configuration.
Reception Settings
Switch Reception Mode
Select the reception mode if using standard G3 line.
Note
- The optional handset or an external telephone is required to use Manual Reception.
Auto Reception
When a call comes in, the device automatically receives it as a fax.
Use this setting for dedicated fax lines.
If the call is voice, you must manually switch to telephone mode.
Manual Reception
When a call comes in, the device rings.
If the call is a fax, you must manually switch to facsimile mode.
2 Sided Print
Specify whether to duplex print fax-received data.
Note
- To initiate duplex printing, all pages of received data must be the same size.
Also, paper of the same size as the received data must be loaded in the machine.

Refresh
Click to update the currently displayed information.
Note
- Before making the settings, click Refresh to obtain the machine's current status.
OK
Click to apply the settings.
Cancel
Click to cancel the settings.
