"Access privileges" in Web Image Monitor refers to settings that allow or deny users access to the device for checking and performing operations via a Web browser.

With this privilege you can view, edit, and manage the information and settings for various operations such as configuring the Address Book and device.
With no privilege, you can neither view nor edit the settings or other information.
Not all users have the same access privileges.
Users are categorized as below depending on whether user authentication is enabled, and whether he/she is a general user or administrator.
When user authentication is disabled, users can access the device by simply connecting to the device via a Web browser.
Users can view device status and some settings.
However, you cannot change device settings.
When user authentication is enabled, fewer functions are available to users unless they are logged in.
You can view device status and query information.
After logging in to the device by clicking Login in the header area, you can edit the Address Book.
If the administration level is set to "Low" for administrator's setting items, users can also configure some network or device settings.
Manages the Address Book. User Administrators can delete or change the password of a user registered to the Address Book even if the password is unknown.
Manages device settings. Machine Administrators can manage print jobs stored in the Document Server, configure settings on the pages displayed by selecting Device Management - Configuration - Device Settings.
Sets up the device's network configuration. Network Administrators mainly configure settings on the pages displayed by selecting Device Management - Configuration - Network.
Configures registration and authentication settings for File Administrators.
Supervisors can change or delete the password of administrator or Supervisor on the Device Management: Configuration: Device Settings: Program/Change Administrator page.
Supervisors are responsible for changing the password as needed; he/she cannot perform any other operation.
A password is required for managing the device.
For example, if the administrator loses his/her password, he/she cannot log in to the device to change its settings.
Supervisor is provided to address this problem.
Supervisor has the right to change the administrator's password, but only the administrator can change device settings.
