This setting is available when you use a PCL 6 or PS3 printer driver, or when you select PDF printing.
Select the printer response when the appropriate paper tray matching paper size and type specified in the job, is not equipped with the printer.
The printer stops operation until the correct paper is loaded.
When the specified period of time elapses, the printer does the following:
When Auto Select is specified, the printer checks trays in the order of Paper Tray Priority, Tray 1, Tray 2, Tray 3, and Bypass Tray, for trays with paper loaded. When the printer detects a tray with paper loaded, it begins printing.
When Auto Select is not specified and the paper tray is specified by the job, the printer begins printing using the tray, regardless of size and type of paper loaded in the tray. If the specified tray has no paper loaded, the printer stops operation until the correct paper is loaded.
Select the printer response if the job is too large.
Resets the job at the error page. Subsequent pages following the error page are not printed.
For the error page, job data before the error is processed and printed. Subsequent pages are printed normally, and the error sheet is printed at the end. When this happens, the electronic collation is canceled.

Jobs are printed using the paper settings (such as paper size and type) configured for the job.
Jobs are printed using the paper settings (such as paper size and type) configured on the machine.
Even if the paper type settings configured for the job do not match the paper loaded in the trays, a paper mismatch error will not occur and jobs will be printed from the bypass tray.
Even if the paper settings (such as paper size and type) configured for the job do not match the paper loaded in the trays, a paper mismatch error will not occur and jobs will be printed from the bypass tray.
This setting is applied only if the paper size configured for the job is a custom size. Even if the paper settings (such as paper size and type) do not match the paper loaded in the trays, a paper mismatch error will not occur and jobs will be printed from the bypass tray.
Select to print over the whole sheet area, leaving no edge borders.
Selecting On results in output leaving no borders.
This setting is available when you use a PCL or PS3 printer driver, or when you select PDF printing.
Select the default printer language activate when the printer is turned on.
Specify whether or not to switch to the alternate tray when paper size or type specified in the job data does not match paper loaded in the specified tray.
This setting is available when you use a PCL or PS3 printer driver, or when you select PDF printing.
Outputs the job using the paper tray having the correct paper, if available.
Do not make switching. The job will result in an error.
Specify whether to disable test print.
If On is selected, the printer cannot print test pages even if it receives the test print command.
Specify whether or not the machine automatically switches to another tray containing paper of the required size, orientation, and type if the specified tray runs out of paper during a job.
