Enter the name of the NetWare print server using up to 47 characters. If you use the interface board as a print server, enter the name of a print server that is not in use in the file server. However, if you change the name to other than the default of the interface board, the new name cannot begin with "RNP" or "rnp".

Logon Mode

Enter the File Server name to search for, using up to 47 characters. You have to enter this.

NDS Tree

NDS Context Name

Enter the context of the print server when using NDS mode. You can enter up to 127 characters.
Object names must be input from a lower level and separated by a period. For example, if you want to create the file server in NETWORK under DS, enter "NETWORK.DS".

Operation Mode

Specify whether to use the interface board as a print server, or as a remote printer.

Remote Printer No.

Enter the printer number. Use the same number as that of the printer to be created on the print server. The entry range is 0 to 254.

Job Timeout

Because a printer acting as NetWare environment remote printer cannot detect the end of a job, it waits for a certain amount of time after printing. When this period elapses without additional print information received, it considers the job completed. The set time is displayed here. The time is measured in seconds. The range is 3 to 255 seconds. The default is 15.

Frame Type

In the list, select the frame type to be used. Auto Select selects the frame type detected on startup. Therefore, the required frame type may not be set when multiple frame types are selectable. When this is the case, select the frame type here.

Print Server Protocol

In the list, select the protocol used with NetWare.
