Notes for Users
- When Web Image Monitor does not display correctly, click the Web browser's refresh button.
- You might not be able to switch the page using the Web browser.
To switch the page, click the button on the page or click the menu item in the area to the left.
- The Web browser's print function may not print the page as shown.
Use the machine's print function.
- Run Web Image Monitor in one Web browser window only. Running Web Image Monitor in multiple windows can cause its operations to fail.
- Web Image Monitor operations can fail if you click a button on a page or refresh the Web browser before the page is fully displayed. If an operation fails, repeat the failed operation.
- Web Image Monitor cannot be viewed or used if the IP address of the computer in use is not within the range of access control.
- If downloading PDF files using Internet Explorer is not successful, upgrade Internet Explorer with the latest version.
Or, change the Acrobat Reader settings to not display PDF files using the Web browser.
- The maximum size for files that can be downloaded from Web Image Monitor is 1 gigabyte (GB).
- With Document Server and Fax Received File, a session will last 30 minutes.
The session information is maintained for that period of time.
Up to 50 users can use these functions together at a time.
- With Address Book, a session will last 30 minutes.
The session information is maintained for that period of time.
Up to 10 users can use the function at a time.
- With Fax Journal (Transmission/Reception), a session will last 30 minutes.
The session information is maintained for that period of time.
Up to 100 users can use the function at a time.
- Enter ASCII characters (a-z, 0-9) to avoid garbled printout and control panel display.
- Even if Web Image Monitor is connected to the device where SSL/TLS encryption is correctly set up, the lock icon may not appear on the Web browser page.
- The user, once logged in to the device via a Web browser, is automatically logged out if he/she leaves the device inactive for 30 minutes.
- Up to 100 users can log in to Web Image Monitor at a time.
- During SSL/TLS encrypted communication, a warning message appears if the status of the site certificate is "Untrustworthy" or if the certificate's common name is different from the name of the host that the browser attempted to contact.
- If you are using Internet Explorer 9 or SSL/TLS communication and the values you specify in the setting page are incorrect, an error page may appear.
This indicates that the specified values may not be reflected when you click "OK" so that the setting page reappears. If this is the case, configure the settings again.
