User Authentication
Device Management > Address Book > Change Registration (Easy Input) > User Authentication

Use this page to register information of the user authentication.

Note

• Displayed items differ depending on authentication method selected.
  If user authentication (Basic Authentication, Windows Authentication, or LDAP Authentication) is selected, Login User Name and Login Password appear.
  The User Code option is available only when user authentication is disabled, or if the user code management is enabled to limit functions by user code.

User Code

Displays the user code. You can enter up to eight digits.

Login User Name

Displays the user name set for user authentication. You can use up to 32 alphanumeric characters. However, you cannot use double quotes ("), colons (:), or spaces.

Change Login Password

Specify whether or not to change the login password used for user authentication.

Login Password

Enter the password you want to use.
You can enter up to 128 alphanumeric characters. Minimum character limits vary depending on the machine's password policy settings.

Confirm Login Password

Enter the password again to confirm it.
The password entered here must be the same as that entered earlier in Login Password. If it is not, the password cannot be changed.

Available Functions

Select the check box of the function to be made available to a user.
