"Access privileges" in Web Image Monitor refers to settings that allow or deny users access to the device for checking and performing operations via a Web browser.

With this privilege you can edit but not view settings. Web Image Monitor gives each user type the privilege to enter the password settings used for PDF printing.
With this privilege you can view, edit, and manage the information and settings for various operations such as printing, downloading files, deleting jobs, and configuring the device.
With no privilege, you can neither view nor edit the settings or other information.
Not all users have the same access privileges.
Users are categorized as below depending on whether user authentication is enabled, and whether he/she is a general user or administrator.
When user authentication is disabled, users can access the device by simply connecting to the device via a Web browser.
Users can view device status, job status, and some settings.
Users may have permission to view, change, print, or delete files stored in the Document Server depending on the access privileges assigned to individual files.
If the Print Jobs function is enabled, you can also print or delete jobs displayed in the list of sample print, locked print, hold print, or stored print documents stored on the device.
However, you cannot change device settings.
When user authentication is enabled, fewer functions are available to users unless they are logged in.
You can view device status and query information.
After logging in to the device by clicking Login in the header area, you can view job status, manage files stored in the Document Server, and edit the Address Book. If the administration level is set to "Low" for administrator's setting items, users can also configure some network or device settings.
Manages the Address Book. User Administrators can delete or change the password of a user registered to the Address Book even if the password is unknown.
Manages device settings. Machine Administrators can manage print jobs stored in the Document Server, configure settings on the pages displayed by selecting Device Management - Configuration - Device Settings, and set up printer, fax, and scanner functions.
Sets up the device's network configuration. Network Administrators mainly configure settings on the pages displayed by selecting Device Management - Configuration - Network, and set up fax and scanner functions.
Configures settings for files stored on the device. File Administrators can change access privileges and delete or change passwords for files stored in the Document Server. If the Print Jobs function is enabled, File Administrators can also delete or unlock jobs displayed in the list of sample print, locked print, hold print, or stored print documents stored on the device.
Supervisors can change or delete the password of administrator or Supervisor on the Device Management: Configuration: Device Settings: Program/Change Administrator page.
Supervisors are responsible for changing the password as needed; he/she cannot perform any other operation.
A password is required for managing the device.
For example, if the administrator loses his/her password, he/she cannot log in to the device to change its settings.
Supervisor is provided to address this problem.
Supervisor has the right to change the administrator's password, but only the administrator can change device settings.
