Configure the default settings used for scanning originals.

To divide originals and scan them separately into a single file using the exposure glass, specify Continuous Wait, Off, or Set Wait Time for the waiting status.
The machine will wait for additional originals until the # key is pressed. Scanning begins as soon as any additional originals are placed and the start key is pressed. You can end scanning and begin sending by pressing the # key.
The machine does not wait for additional originals and begins sending as soon as each original is scanned.
Using the number keys, specify the time (3 to 999 seconds) that the machine waits for additional originals. Scanning begins as soon as any additional originals are placed and the start key is pressed. During this time, you can end scanning and begin sending by pressing the # key. When the specified time elapses, the scanned files are automatically sent.
Adjusting the background density can reduce excessive grayness and shading, which can appear on scans if the original is a newspaper or other semi-transparent media.
Select whether or not to display a warning message if the original is a blank sheet.
