Wait Time for Next Original(s)

Exposure Glass

To divide originals and scan them separately into a single file using the exposure glass, specify Continuous Wait, Off, or Set Wait Time for the waiting status.

Continuous Wait

The machine will wait for additional originals until the # key is pressed. Scanning begins as soon as any additional originals are placed and the start key is pressed. You can end scanning and begin sending by pressing the # key.

Off

The machine does not wait for additional originals and begins sending as soon as each original is scanned.

Set Wait Time

Using the number keys, specify the time (3 to 999 seconds) that the machine waits for additional originals. Scanning begins as soon as any additional originals are placed and the start key is pressed. During this time, you can end scanning and begin sending by pressing the # key. When the specified time elapses, the scanned files are automatically sent.

Background Density of ADS (Full Color)

Adjusting the background density can reduce excessive grayness and shading, which can appear on scans if the original is a newspaper or other semi-transparent media.
