Configure the basic settings for the IP-Fax function.

Select whether to use H.323 for IP-Fax transmission.
Select whether to use a gatekeeper for IP-Fax transmission.
When On is selected, specify the following:

Enter the main gatekeeper's IP address or host name. Up to 128 alphanumeric characters can be entered. A port number can also be specified after a colon ":".

Enter the device's phone number to be registered in the gatekeeper. You can enter up to 128 characters consisting of digits and symbols (* #).
Select whether to use SIP for IP-Fax transmission.
Select whether to use a SIP server for IP-Fax transmission.
When On is selected, specify the following: (User Name and Server IP Address only)
Enter a device name to be registered in the SIP server. Up to 128 alphanumeric characters can be entered.

Set the SIP server IP address.
Specify the following servers using an IP address or host name.
Up to 128 alphanumeric characters can be entered.
A port number can also be specified after a colon ":".
Note
Select whether to perform SIP server Digest Authentication for the machine at IP-Fax transmission and terminal registration.
Digest Authentication sends user names (device names) and passwords in encrypted form, increasing communication security.
If you select On, specify the user name and password in the Digest Authentication User Name and Password boxes.

Click Change to set or change the password for Digest Authentication. When the Change SIP Digest Authentication Password page appears, enter the password you want to use.
