Configure the weekly timer.
The weekly timer automatically puts the device into sleep mode and turns the main power off as specified.
If you select Active (Daily), select the Active check boxes, and then specify a timer type and enter the time.
If you select Active (Day of the Week), select the Active check boxes, and then specify a timer type and enter the time on the specified day of the week.
For example, to put the device into sleep mode when lunchtime begins (12:00) and turn the main power off during nighttime (18:00-09:00 next morning), use the following settings:
Setting Item | Setting Value |
---|---|
Weekly Timer | Active (Daily) |
Main Power On | 09:00 (Workday begins) |
Enter Sleep Mode | 12:00 (Lunchtime begins) |
Main Power Off | 18:00 (Workday ends) |
The device will remain in sleep mode unless an operation is performed after sleep mode.
If the Weekly Timer Code setting is configured, the device will not exit sleep mode or receive jobs until you enter the weekly timer code on the control panel of the machine.
But you can select Cancel Weekly Timer Code for the timer type and enter the time to make the machine exit sleep mode and operate jobs after the specified time.
If you want to turn the main power off all day on Saturdays and Sundays only, select Active (Day of the Week), and then specify the schedule for each day.
Note
Specify whether or not to suspend the weekly timer in the specified period.
If you select Active, the machine will ignore the Main Power On time in the specified period.
Once the main power is turned off in timer suspension period, it remains off because the machine ignores the Main Power On time. When the specified period is over, the weekly timer restarts.
This function is useful when you want to suspend the weekly timer and turn the main power off only for the specified period of time such as summer and winter vacations.
Select whether or not to request a weekly timer code for manual power on or exit form sleep mode.
When On is selected, enter the weekly timer code. Enter a value between 0 and 99999999.
