Configure settings for recording job and device access logs.

Note
- Settings on this page can be changed by the following administrators and users:
- Machine Administrator
- Users logged on
User authentication is enabled on the device and users are permitted to make changes to administrator's setting items.
Job Log
Collect Job Logs
Select whether to record job logs.
Note
- If Inactive is selected, job and error log records cannot be confirmed.
Job Log Collect Level
Select a level of job log collection.

Job Log Collect Settings Listed by Function Type
Select whether or not to enable job log collection for each of the device's functions.

- If you change the setting in the list, the setting for Job Log Collect Level automatically changes to User Settings.
Access Log
Collect Access Logs
Select whether to record the device operation logs.
Access Log Collect Level
Select a level of access log collection.

Access Log Collect Settings Listed by Function Type
Select whether or not to enable access log collection for each of the device's functions.
Note
- Access log records are always saved for HDD Format, All Logs Deletion, Log Setting Change, and Log Collection Item Change.
You cannot specify Do not Collect for these settings.
- If you change the setting in the list, the setting for Access Log Collect Level automatically changes to User Settings.
Eco-friendly Logs
Collect Eco-friendly Logs
Select whether to record the eco-friendly logs.
Eco-friendly Log Collect Level
Select a level of eco-friendly log collection.

Select whether or not to enable eco-friendly log collection for each event.

- If you change the setting in the list, the setting for Eco-friendly Log Collect Level automatically changes to User Settings.
Common Settings for All Logs
Transfer Logs
Select to disable log transfer.
When log transfer is inactive, Inactive is displayed and this setting cannot be changed.
When log transfer is active, log records can be transferred to the log collection system.
Note
- To change the setting of the log transfer function from Inactive to Active, use the log collection system.
Encrypt Logs
Select whether to enable or disable encryption of log records.
Note
- To enable encryption, any one of Collect Job Logs, Collect Access Logs, and Eco-friendly Logs must be set to Active.
Classification Code
Select whether or not to record classification codes.
Required
Records job logs along with classification codes. Jobs without classification codes are cancelled.
Optional
Even if a job has a classification code, the job log is recorded but the classification code is not.
Note
- For details about classification codes, see the operating instructions provided with the machine.
Delete All Logs
Delete All Logs
Click Delete to clear all job log and device access log records.
Note
- On this page, Delete All Logs does not appear if Collect Job Logs, Collect Access Logs and Eco-friendly Logs are set to Inactive.
