Sending scanner files

To Top of the Page

You can send selected scanner files to a shared folder or to an email address. To do this, select one or more scanner files on the Document Server (Shared Folder/Individual Folder) page, and then click Send.


  1. On the Document Server (Shared Folder/Individual Folder), select the check box of the scanner document to be sent (up to 30 documents can be selected).

    Note

    • You cannot send copier or printer files by scanner.
  2. Click Send in the upper left of the page.
    The Send File by Scanner page appears.
  3. Check the displayed documents. Edit the list as required.
    1. Scanner files are sent as a single job, starting from the top of the list. To change the sending order, select a file, and then click Top, Up, Down, or Bottom to move it.
    2. To prevent a document being sent, select it, and then click Remove.
  4. Specify the destination, sender, and other necessary information.
  5. Click Send.
    All files in the list are sent to the specified destination.

    Note

    • It may take a while before sending starts after Send is clicked.
    • You can check scanner send results by selecting Status/Information - Job - Document Server - Scanner Remote Send History.
