You can apply the perfect binding when printing documents stored in the Document Server.
Perfect binding is a binding method that applies heated glue to printed sheets to form a book block, encloses the book block in a cover sheet, and trims away excess paper to create neat edges.

Select the paper tray from which the cover sheets will be fed.
Displays the paper tray from which the sheets for body pages will be fed.

Select the binding position.
Select the cut (edge trimming) to apply when finishing, and then make the detailed settings for the selected cut.
No cut is applied. Edges are not trimmed.
Only the fore edge is trimmed. You can specify a cut and the length of the cut.
Specify the cut length.
Specify the fore edge's finishing size width.
All edges except the binding edge are trimmed.
Specify the cut lengths for Head Edge, Tail Edge, and Fore Edge.
Specify the finishing size in the list.
If you want to shift the cut position along the binding edge, specify in Cut Position Fine Adjustment the distance by which to shift the cut position from the center.
Specify the vertical and horizontal lengths of the finishing size.
If you want to shift the cut position along the binding edge, specify in Cut Position Fine Adjustment the distance by which to shift the cut position from the center.
Click to save the settings and return to the List of Files to Print page.
Click to cancel the settings and return to the List of Files to Print page.
