Certificate Information

Enter the information required to create or request a device certificate.

Note

• This page appears when you click Create or Request on the Device Certificate page.

Certificate No.

Displays the device certificate identification number: certification ID selected on the Device Certificate page.

Common Name

Enter the device certificate common name, using up to 64 characters (required). The common name cannot include any spaces, and is case sensitive.
The default is the host name of the interface board in use.

Organization

Enter the full name of your company, using up to 64 characters (optional). The organization name cannot include any spaces, and is case sensitive.

Organizational Unit

Enter the section of your company that is requesting the certificate, using up to 64 characters (optional). The organization unit name cannot include any spaces, and is case sensitive.

E-mail Address

Enter the e-mail address of the certificate requester, using up to 128 alphanumeric characters.

Note

• To apply S/MIME encryption, this e-mail address must be specified and match the e-mail address specified for the administrator.

City/Locality

Enter the city/locality in which the device is located, using up to 128 characters (optional). The city/locality name cannot include any spaces, and is case sensitive.

State/Province

Enter the state/province in which the device is located, using up to 128 characters (optional). The state/province name cannot include any spaces, and is case sensitive.

Country Code

Enter the country in which the device is located, using two-letter ISO 3166 abbreviation of the country (required).

Validity Start Date

Enter the start date of the validity of the device certificate.
The default is the current date obtained from the internal clock of the computer that is accessing Web Image Monitor.

Note

• This appears only when creating the device's own device certificate.

Validity Period

Enter the period of time for which the device certificate is valid, in years.
The default is one year.

Note

• This appears only when creating the device's own device certificate.

Algorithm Signature

Select the algorithm signature that is applied whenever a device certificate is installed.

Buttons

OK

Click to apply the settings.
When a message appears, click OK to return to the Device Certificate page where you can check the device certificate status in the Certificate Status box. Installed appears when the certificate is installed, or Requesting if the certificate is submitted to a Certification Authority (CA).

Cancel

Click to cancel the settings.
