Use this page to make changes to IPDS form settings or to register new IPDS settings.

IPDS Form Settings

Configure settings for the IPDS form.

Form Name

Enter the name of the form, using up to 16 characters.

Description

Enter the description for the form, using up to 90 characters. (You can leave this text box blank.)

Media Size

Select the size of the form.

Custom Size Units

If you select Custom for Media Size, select the unit of measurement for the custom form.

Media Type

Select the type of the form.

Media Orientation

Select whether the media orientation is Long (long edge feed) or Short (short edge feed).

Media Type Component ID

Select whether or not to specify the Media Type Component ID. If you select Specify, enter the ID number using a value between 0 and 65535.

Edge Sensitive

Specify whether or not the printer rotates the print image 180 degrees.

Side Sensitive

Select Yes for the jobs that contain a combination of simplex (single-sided) and duplex (double-sided) pages and that require preprinted or prepunched forms.

Simplex Only

Specify whether to perform simplex (single-sided) printing or duplex (double-sided) printing.

Simplex Adjust Cross Feed

When performing simplex (single-sided) printing, specify the horizontal offset (relative to the paper feed orientation).

Simplex Adjust Feed

When performing simplex (single-sided) printing, specify the vertical offset (relative to the paper feed orientation).

Front Duplex Adjust Cross Feed

When performing duplex (double-sided) printing, specify the horizontal offset of the front page (relative to the paper feed orientation).

Front Duplex Adjust Feed

When performing duplex (double-sided) printing, specify the vertical offset of the front page (relative to the paper feed orientation).

Back Duplex Adjust Cross Feed

When performing duplex (double-sided) printing, specify the horizontal offset of the back page (relative to the paper feed orientation).

Back Duplex Adjust Feed

When performing duplex (double-sided) printing, specify the vertical offset of the back page (relative to the paper feed orientation).

Click to update the currently displayed information.

• Before making the settings, click Refresh to obtain the machine's current status.

OK

Click to apply the settings.

Cancel

Click to cancel the settings.
