Virtual Printer Settings
Device Management > Configuration > Printer > Virtual Printer Settings

Use this page to add or delete a virtual printer, or change its settings.
A print device can be configured as multiple virtual printers that each have different combinations of settings.
This way, a single print device can be used as if it were multiple separate print devices.

Note

• Settings on this page can be changed by the following administrator and Users:
  • Machine Administrator
  • Users logged on
    User authentication is enabled on the device and users are permitted to make changes to administrator's setting items.

Change

After selecting a virtual printer, click Change to display a page where you can edit the settings of that virtual printer.

Add

Click to go to the page where you can add a virtual printer.

Note

• The Add button is unavailable if the maximum number of virtual printers has been reached.

Delete

Click to delete the selected virtual printer.

Note

• You cannot delete the "Default" printer.

Virtual Printer Name

Displays the names of the configured virtual printers.
"Default" is the original default virtual printer.

Protocol

Displays the protocol selected for each virtual printer.

Buttons

Refresh

Click to update the currently displayed information.

Note

• Before making the settings, click Refresh to obtain the machine's current status.

Click to return to the Configuration page.
