Tray Parameters (PS/PCL/RPDL)

On the Tray Parameters (PS) page, configure settings for replacement of paper tray parameters used for PS printing.
On the Tray Parameters (PCL) page, configure settings for replacement of paper tray parameters used for PCL printing.
On the Tray Parameters (RPDL) page, configure settings for replacement of paper tray parameters used for RPDL printing.

Note

• Settings on this page can be changed by the following administrator:
  • Machine Administrator
• Tray parameter replacement is useful if, for example, your company decided to replace printers used in the ERP system with another manufacturer's printers. If Company A printers (tray parameter "4" is recognized as "Tray 1") are replaced by Company B printers (tray parameter "4" is recognized as "Tray 3"), the former parameter assignments are retained, so print jobs sent to Tray 1 are output through Tray 3. To restore the correct print path without changing the ERP system settings, parameter "4" assignment must be changed from Tray 3 to Tray 1.

Input Tray

Displays the paper trays available on the machine.

Tray Parameters

Enter the tray parameter replacement value for each paper tray, using up to 99 digits. You can register up to three tray parameters.

Note

• If there is no need to replace a tray parameter, leave the parameter blank.
• The same tray parameter cannot be set for different paper trays.

Click to update the currently displayed information.

Note

• Before making the settings, click Refresh to obtain the machine's current status.
