Date/Time
Device Management > Configuration > Device Settings > Date/Time

Configure settings for the device's internal clock.

Note

• Settings on this page can be changed by the following administrators and users:
  • Machine Administrator
  • Users logged on
    User authentication is enabled on the device and users are permitted to make changes to administrator's setting items.

Set Date

Enter the year-month-day you want to set on the device.
Select the Apply check box to apply the setting.

Set Time

Enter the time you want to set on the device. Enter hours between 0 and 23, and minutes between 00 and 59.
Select the Apply check box to apply the setting.

SNTP Server Name

If you use SNTP (Simple Network Time Protocol) to set the machine clock, enter the IPv4 address, IPv6 address or host name of the SNTP server the machine will access.

Note

• You cannot enter a period (.) or a hyphen (-) at the start or end of an IPv4 address or a host name. Doing so will result in an error. Also note that you cannot enter consecutive hyphens (--), consecutive periods (..), or consecutive hyphens and periods (-. or .-).
• The following IPv6 addresses cannot be specified:
  Addresses with all zeros, link-local addresses, multicast addresses, loopback addresses, IPv4-compatible addresses, and IPv4-mapped addresses.

SNTP Polling Interval

Specify when the printer should synchronize with the specified SNTP server.

Time Zone

Specify the time-zone using the time difference between machine and GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). You can enter a value between -12:00 and +13:00 for hours, and 00 to 59 for minutes.

Note

• When you click Apply after changing the setting, a confirmation message about resetting the device appears.

Click to update the currently displayed information.

Note

• Before making the settings, click Refresh to obtain the machine's current status.

OK

Click to apply the settings.

Cancel

Click to cancel the settings.
