Download Logs

Logs stored on the machine can be downloaded.

Click to obtain the logs stored on the machine as a CSV file.
When you click this button, a dialog box prompting you to download the file appears.

Note

Downloaded logs contain data recorded up till the time you click the [Download] button. Logs can take several minutes to half an hour or longer to fully download. Log data recorded after the [Download] button is clicked will not be downloaded.
Logs are downloaded as UTF-8 format files. If the application you use to open a log file does not support UTF-8, the file's text might appear garbled.
The following operations are not permitted while logs are downloading:
- Downloading the log from another Web browser.
- Displaying and editing the [Job History] page (from [Job List] in [Job]).
An error will occur if you attempt these operations.
If you are using Internet Explorer 8, downloading will be slower than with other browsers. To download faster with Internet Explorer 8, open the browser's [Internet Options] menu and register the machine's URL as a trusted site. Then disable SmartScreen filter for trusted sites.
