Enter a string to search for pages where the string appears as a part of heading or item name text.
[Search page including following word] box and [Search] button
Enter a search string in the [Search page including following word] box, using 2 to 64 characters, and then click [Search] to search for pages that include the string. Search string is not case sensitive.
Note
- The following pages are searched:
- Setting pages directly accessible from the [Configuration] page.
- The [Address List] page and its directly accessible pages related to the Address Book.
Setting values, units, and messages are excluded from searches. Items that appear when you change a setting value (i.e. not displayed by default) are also excluded. - The following pages cannot be searched:
- Pages accessed from the menu area by selecting items other than [Configuration] or [Address Book].
- Settings pages that cannot be directly displayed (require more than two clicks) from the [Configuration] page
- Spaces at the beginning or end of the search string are ignored. Two or more consecutive spaces are treated as a single space.
Search Results
Displays the search results, if any.
Items displayed are as follows:
Note
- The search results may include items that appear on the page only when an optional unit is installed.
- Items that cannot be set with the device may appear in the search results.
Matches
Displays words that include the string.
Page
Displays the names of pages that include the word displayed in the [Matches] column, or menu items displayed on the [Configuration] page. Click a page name or menu item to display its corresponding page.
Note
- If you do not have access privileges for the page listed in [Page], you cannot view the page even if you click the page name or menu item.
